(Updated 11/1/2023) (The Seer + The Box updated rules)

🛑 DISCLAIMER 🛑

You can drink anything you want, be it water, soda or whatever floats your boat. The game can go in several directions, many of them asking you to take drinks. Keep this in mind when choosing your drinks before the game.

🔥 SETUP 🔥

– It is recommended to use at least 40 cards for a 2 Player Game, and 60+ cards for a 3-6 player game. The more cards you play with, the longer and more varied the gameplay will be. Using duplicate cards is not recommended.

– Place a large bowl on the table. This will serve as The Graveyard where dead cards are moved each round. If you own The Graveyard Game Box, this will serve as The Graveyard!

– Each player rolls the dice, the winner is designated as DJ for the game. Choose your soundtrack wisely!

– Cards are shuffled and divided evenly between players and stacked face down into even piles.
– If using the Weapons Pack add on, divide the weapons cards evenly between players into secondary piles.

– A celebratory shot between all players will begin the game!

🔥 GENERAL RULES 🔥

– Each player draws one card and places it face up.

– The player with the highest tier (number) wins the round, moving their card back to the bottom of their deck. The losers card is moved to The Graveyard.

– Once a player runs out of cards, they are eliminated.

– If 2 or more players draw cards of the same tier and it is the highest tier of the round, each player rolls the dice, and the player who rolls highest wins and moves their card to the bottom of their deck. All remaining players face up cards go into the graveyard. If the two players roll the same numbers – take a drink, roll again, and repeat until their is a winner. All losers face up cards move to The Graveyard. Winning players card to the bottom of their deck.

– If all players draw a Mortal tier, the round will be decided by a rock paper scissors battle. Winners card goes to the bottom of their deck, all losing cards go to The Graveyard.

– If two Fallen cards are drawn during a 2 player game, everyone will take a drink and all cards go to the graveyard. If drawn during a 3+ player game, the Fallen cards will act as a Tag Team (See Tag Team section)

🔥 WEAPONS CARDS 🔥

– Each player will have a separate pile for their weapons cards. Unlike the character cards, weapons cards can be viewed throughout the game and used at the players own discretion. Weapons cards can be drawn once per player, per round – and will serve as an add on point bonus to their character card. Weapons cards cannot be used in conjunction with CHAOS cards. Once a weapons card has been used, it will be moved to the Graveyard. In addition to a point boost, some weapons have special abilities which are listed below :

  • Goliath Axe – Free’s the player from The Devil Tree mini game (keep your card)
  • KAOS Bottle – If paired with the Neon Sermon card, this card will grant the player the ability to choose any player to take a double drink.
  • Fallen Staff – Defeats any Fallen Card
  • Serpant’s Staff – Breaks Medusa’s gaze and frees you from the Medusa mini game (keep your card)

🔥 ORACLE CARDS 🔥

– If a player draws an Oracle card, they may select any players, including themselves to take a drink. If any player refuses the drink, they are eliminated. Once an Oracle card has been drawn, it will be moved to the graveyard. Oracle cards trump all cards, including Chaos cards – with the exception of Chamiliatic. The only thing that can beat an Oracle Card is a Tag Team or Chamiliatic!

– If a player draws 3 Oracle cards in a row, they automatically win the game and everyone takes a drink.

– If 2 players each draw an Oracle, both players will take a drink together. Both cards go to The Graveyard.

🔥 CHAOS CARDS 🔥

– If a player draws the Summoning card, he or she will collect all losing cards, and all cards in the graveyard are resurrected and redistributed to all players, including eliminated players. Move the Summoning Card to the graveyard.

– If a player draws The Devil card, collect 1 card from each player. All losing players take a drink. The Devil card goes to the graveyard.

– If a player draws the Succubus card, collect 2 cards from each player, and winner takes control as DJ. Succubus card goes to the graveyard.

– If a player draws The Jokerr Card, all losing cards plus the top card in the graveyard will be moved to a new pile called The Dungeon, and The Jokerr Card will be removed from the game. If the player who drew The Jokerr Card is eventually eliminated, they will collect all cards from The Dungeon and continue playing.

– If a player draws The Ferryman card, they must move back 5 steps (10 steps if using The Graveyard Game Box) from the table and successfully throw a coin into The Graveyard. If the coin lands inside, all other players must pay The Ferryman’s toll of $1, or take a knee and give the winner a sincere compliment. If the player misses, they must take a drink. All cards including The Ferryman go to The Graveyard.

– If a player draws the Chamiliatic card, they will mimic the highest card of the round, and roll the dice to decide a winner. If the player who drew Chamiliatic wins, they will keep both cards. If drawn in the same round as an Oracle or Chaos card, the player who drew Chamiliatic will inherit the powers of that card during that particular round, with the original card and Chamiliatic card going to The Graveyard.

– If a player draws the Medusa card, all players will be turned to stone – and the round will come to a standstill! The player who drew Medusa will first roll 1 die, noting Medusa’s number to the group. To escape Medusa’s gaze, each player must continue rolling the die until they match or beat Medusa’s number. If Medusa’s number is 1, players have to roll a 2 or higher. For every failed attempt, the player rolling will lose one card to The Graveyard. This will continue until all players have escaped Medusa’s gaze! Once the mini game is complete, move the Medusa card to The Graveyard.

– If a player draws The Mysterious Stranger card, select one player from the group, confiscate their deck and remove any 2 cards of your choosing. Reshuffle their deck and return it to them. Removed cards will be moved to The Graveyard.

– If a player draws The Devil Tree card, they will collect all other players face up cards, combine their numbers and display them around The Devil Tree card. Each player will then join forces, and draw 1 card each until their combined numbers beat The Devil Tree. With each failed attempt, the losing cards will be moved to The Graveyard. If a player draws a Chaos Card, it will be moved to the Graveyard. If The Devil Tree is defeated, move it to the Graveyard, and return the collected cards to its original players.

– If a player draws the Rince card, all other players keep their cards and also take one card from The Graveyard. Move the Rince card to The Graveyard.

– If a player draws the Ritual card, all players pass their card to the player to their right. Move the Ritual card to The Graveyard. In a 2 player game, the player who drew Ritual will collect the other players card, with the Ritual card moving to the Graveyard.

– If a player draws The Box card, they have fallen into The Box! To escape, roll a 2 or higher. If they roll under a 3, they are eliminated from the game. If eliminated, the player has the option for REDEMPTION. If all other players can agree to save the player, they will be rescued from The Box. All face up cards to the Graveyard.

– If a player draws The Seer card, all other face up cards go to the graveyard, and the player who drew The Seer will choose one player and try to guess the number of their next top card. If the player guesses within 5 points of the correct number, they get to collect the players card as well as keep The Seer card. If the player guesses incorrectly, the other player will keep their original card, and collect The Seer card. If drawn in the last round of the game, the player with The Seer card will guess the other players dice roll number.

– If 2 players each draw a Chaos card, the round will be decided by a dice roll and the winners cards rules will be executed. If the dice roll is a draw, take a drink, roll again and repeat until there is a winner. Losing cards to the graveyard.

🔥 RIVALS 🔥

– If two players draw Rivals during a round, and the rivals are the highest tier of the round – the round will be determined via a thumb wrestling contest. Loser takes a drink, and winner keeps both cards. If no one wins within 2 minutes, the round is considered a draw and all face up cards go to the graveyard. Below is a list of Rivals :

– Stinger Vs. Frozen
– Symbiote Vs. Havok
– Dream Master Vs. Stalker / Jason
– Hunter Vs. Harvester
– Inferno / Spellbinder / Witcher Vs. Skyfall
– Mercenary Vs. Assassin

🔥 TAG TEAMS 🔥 (3+ Player Games Only)

– If two or more players draw a Tag Team, their tier numbers are combined. If that number is the highest of the round, both winning players keep their cards and the losing cards are moved to the graveyard. If drawn in the same round as a CHAOS card, players who drew a team will roll the dice to determine a winner before facing the CHAOS card. Losing players take a drink.
